What's inside the beach hut?

The beach huts are located on the promenade and look over the sandy beach at South Blyth. Each hut has timbered interior with a bench seat and small work surface. A kettle, 4 Deck Chairs and coat hooks are provided.

Are toilets and showers available?

Public toilets, external showers and a water supply are just a short distance away, located at the Dave Stephens Centre.

How do I collect my keys

The key to your Beach Hut can be collected from the Dave Stephens Centre from 8am onwards on the day of your booking. The key must be handed back to its collection point, no later than 8pm during Summer months and 6pm from the 1st October to 30th April . In the event of a lost key, please inform a member of staff at the Dave Stephens Centre or contact Reception at Blyth Community Enterprise Centre. The hirer must pay for the cost of a replacement key.

Can I rent a beach hut on a long-term basis?

Yes, we have a number of our beach huts currently hired out on a lease agreement (9 month agreement or 12 month agreement). Please get in touch for more information by emailing info@blythcec.co.uk and we will add you to our waiting list.

If we have a beach hut available to lease for the forthcoming year one of our team will contact you directly on the details provided.

Can I hire a beach hut for the day?

Beach Huts are available to rent on a daily agreement throughout the year by emailing info@blythcec.co.uk or phoning 01670 542840

If we have a beach hut available on your chosen day, one of our team will be in touch to confirm your booking. Payment must be made upon booking and is non - refundable.

Daily Cost: £60.00 During Summer months (Concessions are available, please ask)

Daily Cost : £45.00 Fron October to April. (No concessions)

PLEASE NOTE: PRICING—We are currently conducting a Public Consultation regarding the Beach Huts, The Dave Stephens Centre, and the Community PODS. After we review the public's comments, part of this consultation will involve revising the rental of the huts accordingly.

As we have just taken over the Beach Huts, we have placed the costs at the present rate for Daily rent as some urgent repairs need to be done.

We aim to respond the same day during office hours and will respond ASAP during weekends.
